How we do it...

Our cleaning processes explained

Upon arrival we survey the job to be done and note elements such as stains and carpet fibre type to ensure that we approach the work correctly. Then of course we will thoroughly vacuum the carpets to remove latent dust and loose soiling.

This is followed by a ph-controlled pre-spray and hand-brush to emulsify the soiling within the carpet fibres and prepare it for the deep extraction clean to come.

Now it's time for the Prochem GT Blazer Truck-Mounted system (featured above) to take over. We carry out a deep extraction clean and rinse using this powerful machine the benefits of which are...

Up to 1200psi of suction power - 600psi of chemical injection pressure - Up to 210f degrees solution temperature - Deep Rinse to ensure Ph balance is maintaned - Odour Neutraliser to leave your carpets smelling fresh and clean - As little as 1 hour drying times.

Upholstery and soft furnishings are treated in a similar fashion but pressures and temperatures are modified to take account for material type and delicacy. We use specialist hand-tools for this type of operation.

Frequently asked questions...

What you need to know

Q. How will you know what my carpets are made of?

A. As a fully trained company we are able to test the fibre type of your carpets and upholstery to determine whether they are man-made or natural fibres. Our cleaning methods vary with each fibre-type to ensure there will be no shrinkage or colour-bleed.

Q. Do we need to vacuum the carpets before you arrive?

A. Absolutely not. This is part of our stress-free service.

Q. I have children and pets in my home. Will any of the chemicals you use affect them in any way?

A. No. All the chemicals that we use are non-toxic and safe for all, including pets and children.

Q. There are some stubborn stains on my carpet. Will you charge me extra to try and remove them?

A. No. Stain removal (where possible) is all part of the service. There are very few that we are unable to deal with as we carry specialist stain removal products, each designed to deal with different types of staining from food and drinks to make-up and ink. However not all stains can be removed as some compounds will have a permanent effect on the fibres.

Q. My carpets appear to be clean although they have been in place for some time. Why have them cleaned at all?

A. Bear in mind that all carpets actually filter the air in your home and whilst they might look clean to the eye they will contain dust, pollen and possibly mites which all-in-all will affect the air quality in the home or office. Some allergy sufferers might notice this even more. Regular maintenance cleans of your carpet has been proven to extend their life as well.

Q. What are the drying times?

A. This varies according to fibre type and pile depth. Most carpets will be dry to the touch after an hour or so. You should however allow around 3 hours before they are bone-dry.

Q. How do we pay you?

A. We accept the following methods of payment...

Cash or Transfer via Internet Banking

Carpets And More
